Enermy
"I remember I was surfing the internet that day. Then I heard some noise at my back. I turned. Stunned. Immediately stood up and screamed."
Defendant:
"I was sneaking into a room through a window. There she was, busy doing something on a machine with her back facing the window, which I think it's a laptop. I tried very hard to sneak in quietly but I stepped onto something that caused her to turn. When she saw me, she screamed. I was totally freaked out and immediately jumped out from the window and ran for my life."
I saw an animal trying to sneak into my house's second floor. Silly thing, gave me a fright. Nearly had a heart attack. It was SO close yet I still cant figure out what it was. Could be a cat or a squirrel.
Later, I heard some noise in my parents' room. So, I quietly open the door, turn on the light and peep inside. Saw that black greyish fellow from the back again, walking slowly across the room. Ish! It's IT again!
Told my sister to bring me a 'rotan' and we both jumped inside to declare the war. But the enermy was totally out of sight before we could even lay an evil stroke on it, hmph!
Dont do that again, I had enough in one day.

Sounds familiar?
Mother (M), Son (S), Daughter (D)
S: 妈咪! 我要买这本书。 我自己有带钱买书。
I almost laughed out loud, hahaa! I was afraid if I peep at them, I'll burst out laughing. This lady's respond was so funny, the way she say '恐怖' was super hilarious!
That scene sounds familiar to you?
It is for me, at least. My sibings and I were in this situation before for many many times when we were young and money-less. I miss those times. (Especially when we wanted to get comics, hahaa!)

Complicated?
I hope by the end of this long post, you will have a clearer picture of where my mind is for now.
It's very hard for me to describe my day, but I shall try...
I was walking to uni today to meet up my group members for the assignment discussion. As I walked out from my apartment, I started to tell my Father how much I love Him and thank Him for His abundant blessings. Then, when I came to a junction, suddenly I turned towards the road that leads to the main road instead of the short cut that I would normally take without much of my conscious. As I was taking my second step, I had second thought of turning back, but in the end I did not.
So, as I was reaching another junction, something caught my attention. I saw an Indian man had his bike stopped at the mouth of the junction where I was like around 10 steps away from him. He seems to be searching for something from the bucket of his bike or arranging something. I thought he might have just wanted to arrange and tie up his stuff before he continue his journey.
3 seconds later, 2 motorbikes flew out from that same junction. There were 2 guys on one rather slightly bigger in size bike in red, and another lone biker tailed. I knew something was not right, something really wrong was about to happen.
The red bike flew out from the junction and made a very fast and furious u-turn, then turned and stopped his bike facing the Indian man, while the other one stopped behind that man. The moment the red bike stopped, the guy from the back jumped down and ran towards the Indian man, so as the guy that tailed closely.
What I saw was that the Indian man very quickly took out his metal hex nut tightener (not sure what does that tool called) from his bucket, and started whacking that 2 guys when they approached him with ferocity.
I stood there, completely lost my conscious. At first, I thought it was a street fight coz I couldnt really see what was going on. A few seconds later, only did I realised it was a snatch theft.
I know there were only 2 things that I could do. One, help that man and risk my life, coz I was not sure whether the guys were holding any weapon like knife or something that can take my life away. Two, run and get help but it might be too late coz everything is happening so fast.
When I look at what I had on my hands, arghh... only 2 heavy library books! And my umbrella was in my bag. Super pathetic! How?????
The second I decided to throw the books on them, I saw the guy riding on the red bike who was waiting for his partner in crime actually looked at me with his really scary expression.
"Arghh... shooooottt! He saw me!!"
I thought he might ride towards me and make my life miserable. I retreated 2 steps back. Then suddenly, the fight was over. They flew away with their bikes.
I quickly ran towards to the Indian man and asked him whether he was alright. He was not hurt at all, thank God! Then, he showed me his palm was holding on to his gold pendant and his gold chain was still hanging on his neck, told me they were trying to snatch it just now. But they didnt manage to do so. He said his defence with his little tool here might be small, but it hurted them. He told me that he suspected the 3 of them has been tracking on him since a while ago.
The corner house residents closed their gates as they were freaked out as much as I did and looked from the other side of the gate. Later, 2 other motorcyclists turned into ths junction and showed concern and suggested him to report it to the police nearby.
Even when I continued my journey, I was still a little shaken by the incident. I came a conclusion whereby, IF I ever encounter another such incident again, I think I know what I should do.
One, if I have anything good enough to be a weapon with me and the situation allows me to help out, WHACK!
Two, if I cant help out, dont try to be a hero, coz I can still shout "POLICE!" to scare them off and take down the plate numbers.
Everything happened so fast, I felt so helpless and sorry for the man for I couldnt do anything when I was so near. However, I really do wanna thank God for keeping the man and everyone else safe during the incident. I know why I took the road that leads to the main road this afternoon, it was His plan. I could have been the target or even got hurt if I took other road. Really thank God!
When I reached uni, I told my friends, but I think the whole reading room heard me, sorry... I was too confused. I tried to tell them the incident, but my mind was running with a million thoughts and not able to arrange it all in sequence for one moment.
All the confusion and anxiety was over when I began working on the website with my friends. It was another session of website designing and checking time. The hours were torturing, but Jeannie was the one who suffered the most. We worked till less than an hour for me to travel to church just now. Seriously, every second that count. It has been a week of just work work work. Thank God, this is the very very last assignment for my degree, hahaa!
During Nancie's baptism in church just now, it reminded me mine. As we worshipped and prayed for her, I felt His presence there. Such wonderful moment to experience His love. I'm sure He will hold her close in His arms always, shower more blessing and love on her more and more each day. "I'm really happy for you, Nancie" =)
Also, thanks to Elie dai ga jie's camera, I get to snap snap away the whole night. At first, I was a bit confused of the function coz it's pretty canggih to me, hahaa! I know my dad has one many years ago, but I have never acquired the skill. Later on, I find it actually quite user friendly. And there goes, happily snapping away... I hope the photos turned out well =P
Yeap. End of my stories of the day.
I was confused, anxious, then busy and in the end cheered up! How complicated!
Need to catch some sleep now, tomorrow morning is my last presentation for my degree course. It's going to be another exciting day. I'm counting on You!

H1N1
We hear 'H1N1' being mentioned almost everyday these days. Scary enough to put me into shiver. Worse than any other virus, says trojan. I was down with fever a few days ago and was a little worried cause fever is one of the syndromes. Thank God I had a speedy recovery on that day itself after taking much rest.
My course mate was hoping that I can spread the virus in the campus and make the uni close for a week, what a friend! Too bad, I have disappointed you. (You know who you are) Hahaa!
However, that was not the end. Cough came after.
I was so noisy coughing away day and night. Even I, could not stand my own noise. Coughing my lung out. Finally, it is coming to an end today after I brought the chinese herbal drinks.
Let's continue to pray for everyone to have a healthy and strong immune system.

Smile with wrinkle
Every week, consistently, all kinds of meetings, die-for-approval-and-move-on-to-the-next-procedure consultations and brains-smashing discussions besides the classes that good-kid-must-attend, the never-never-ending assignments ("Long live the assignments!" joking nia...) and fyp, the additional-'encouraged'-to-be-there-ceremonies, and the current assignment fever news covering in KL.
Thursday these days has become my rest day of the week, instead of Sunday. (I dont like this arrangement, but I enjoyed the rest that I can get on this one day off. ) "Give me back MY Sunday!"
Friday always haunt me the worst, from morning till night even though I have no classes to attend, but I'll definately required to be in campus. For the past 2 weeks, Friday has brought enough wrinkles to my face. Every minute counts, seriously. The worst was last Friday, one discussion and 3 meetings somehow scheduled in one day. One after another...
Some say
"Your final semester only has 2 subjects and FYP, so nice!"
My answer to you
"You have really no idea what is it like. And I dont think you ever wanna be in my shoe, hahahaa!"
Yet, it has been fruitful, yes. Hard work pays off.
Continue to smile, even with wrinkles, hahaa! =)

Itchy Fingers
During the lecture, Mr J accidentally kicked the table where the projector was. So, the projector was slightly off its position.
He didnt bother to adjust the projector but went on to the white board in front and wrote some notes there.
As usual, my response is to adjust the position of the projector since I can do it with one hand without even leaving my seated position.
While I was one hand copying notes from the white board and one hand adjusting the projector, Mr J suddenly turned his head over slowly. He looked slightly shocked as he turned, as if he has seen a ghost. Then his stare stopped on me.
"Er... Opps! What did I do?"
Mr J said he thought the projector moved on its own when he was writing some notes on the white board, just at the edge of the screen where the projector projected the slides. He got shocked when he realised 'it' moves as he was writing.
My hand still paused at the same position as he explained.
I think someone at the back of the class laughed out loud and told me "Hey Irene! You itchy hand la... " and also something like I have frightened Mr J off.
The whole class roared with laughter.
Blushed.
What did Giant do this time?
My good intention has turned out to be some jokes of the day, again. Aiks*
Nevermind, at least you guys and girls stayed awake after the laughter. Cheers =)

No more fever please
I knew it would hit me when I sensed a button in my immune system was turned off when I was about to reach home on Friday night. Felt weak mentally and physically all of a sudden. Immediately went to bed to rest after checking and replying emails.
The next day I woke up, a very bad headache hit me. Not only did I do nothing, I slept for the whole day. Absolutely in coma on and off for more than 30 hours in around 36 hours straight down. Never have I ever felt so weak till the extend of could not even stand for 10 minutes to get something done. Too tired physically and mentally to do anything.
The weather was not exactly a good help to make me feel any better, either it was too hot or it was too cold. I dont know, maybe I was no longer in good condition to feel the actual temperature.
What a waste of time resting for so long to recover...
Then only I realise how much a patience have to bear and suffer in bed to recover from their pain and sickness...
Praise the Lord for healing me and I can continue to do my work today. =)
I was insanely hungry coz I only had two BIG tomatoes and some cereal yesterday. It's always good to be back with my appetite.
Please no more fever or what-so-ever-sickness. I have no time to waste...
Dear friends who are rushing assignments and final year project, take good care and dont fall sick. Drink more water, eat healthily and take enough daily rest.
Till then, God bless you =)

Let's dance!!
I was having a dreadful feeling that the poem 'Tembusu' will be in the paper the moment I woke up this morning. So, I went through the poem again before I set off to uni. I just can hardly believe that the poem that I dread of IS IN THE PAPER!!! AARRGHHH....!!! I can clearly recall the last time I dreamt about exam question was just the night before an exam, some years back when I was in secondary school. Can you imagine that the exact question I dreamt of actually came out? I know it sounds crazy, it's true! It happened again this morning! o,0"
Basically, I think I did my best to crap a lot in the explanations. *aiks* I hope it sounds logic enough, haha... I was joking with Shan before entering the examination hall that we shall do our best to CRAP, and I think we can manage to do so after the intensive-crap-training we had in these 2 years, haha... We had enough practice, I suppose!
Just wanna update a little about the paper I had today- Malaysian Literature.
There were altogther 4 sections in the paper: A. Short Story B. Novel C. Poem D. Drama
As I was doing Section C- Poem, the all-time-killer-section for me. Only 2 words to describe the moment when I was tortured to finish it up--> 绝望!!! (hopeless/ end of the world/ Argh!!) Really hope it turned up well, coz I did what I can to 'juice-out' my brain. Was kinda 'scolding' the poets as I was doing revision yesterday, "Why do you write so many miserable poems? You are simply torturing my life, do you realise that? Go sleep la, so free!"
Well well well, it's all OVER now!!! In a mood to SING OUT LOUD!!!
*I can only mute my voice with my mouth open wide singing out loud at the moment, pathetic right? Why? My housemates are still in exam fever, they will kill me if I ever S-O-L!! Haha... Anyway, I'm a good housemate I am, hehe.. perasan gila, haha!!*

Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park
Now, you have to be quiet and patience when you enter.... just let the pictures do the talking! =)
A view from the top.
Some butterflies look exactly like a dried leaf. Only when you observe closer, then you will realise that it has some other parts extra =) The colour is hidden when it closes its wings. Patience is needed if you want to look at the 'hidden beauty'.
The flowers and the bottle of essence are used to attract the butterflies and moths.
More than just butterfly and moth:
It's somewhere very near to Balai Polis Bukit Aman.

Lovin' this sem
I'm simply loving this short semester. Learning a new language (Japanese) and Malayisan Literature. Monday and Tuesday are the days where I learn new words, pronunciations, phrases... in Japanese. Thursday and Friday are the days when I get to read story after story.
Dear course mates who are taking Mandarin, have fun!! "bo po mo fo..." hehe... I still remember Ju mentioned this in mamak sometimes ago, which Vivien reminded me in her blog, "Wo jin nian yi shi er sui!" (she was trying to say she's 21, but said she's 12) Joker betul la Ju! Then as I was trying my Jap, I replied Ju: "Anatawa ju issai!" (means you are 21 years old) Mana tau that Ju heard 'Ju eat sai!' *sweat* Hahaha....
Basically, what do I focus these days during this short semester are just 2 things: practice my Japanese language and read stories. How can I not love this life? I have waited for this moment long enough...
FUN!!!! Yes... BUT short semester means the usual long semester 14 weeks of lessons are to be completed in 7 weeks. In other word, we have shorter time to complete our lessons. Imagine other people learn Japanese language in 14 weeks, whereas we have to learn and master the basics of a new language in 7 weeks. INTENSIVE learning I would say. However, my Japanese lecturer thinks we are progressing well so far.
I have 5 books with me now (pic above), even though we are currently in only Week 3. There are 2 books for Japanese lesson, 3 for Msian Literature. I heard there is another one coming soon. I have spent the most on books alone in this semester in fact. More books means more to spend and read!!! Aiks*
Oya! I'm back with The Return again... AGAIN!!! Hahaha... My form 5 literature. I did not finish my reading of this book even though I have sat for SPM. Pathetic right? I guess this time I cannot run away from it again, haha... *finish it, irene!*
CF is moving into a new direction. There are lots of plannings and discussions going on every now and then. Busy? Yes. Yet, we are doing all these for Him. =) I really hope we can all work together to achieve 'Sharing Love, Impacting Lives'. Let's do our best and follow the great commandments. I'm really blessed to be able to serve the Lord with all the brothers and sisters in Christ. *HUGS*
Another wonderful good news that really cheer me up since a few days ago, even until now... Can hardly get over it, everytime I think about it, my face become this --> ^______^ Will post it up probably in December, stay tune =P

The Only Princess
My dear brother and sisters, if you happened to read this post, please do not be jealous, your time will come. *wink*
Went home during the study week. So happened that my DEAR younger siblings went for a trip together on the second day I reached home, also my elder sibling was not around. *BRrooaaAD GRIN* Of course, left di mi me and mikko at home!!!
I have not been spending time alone with my parents for a long time. During the period of time, not only I got all the attention I want *GRIN AGAIN*, basically I follow them everywhere they go and joined every single moment together. I even get to choose what I want to eat and I get to finish all the food in the end... MUAHAHA!!! It was altogether lovely! LOVELY!!! **HUG DI & MI**
We had breakfast, lunch, tea time, dinner and supper together.
We watched movie together.
We went to visit my grands together.
We chatted and laughed together.
We went shopping together.
We cleaned the house together......
(Just me and my parents)
Obviously I dont mean that it's less fun to spend time with my siblings together with my parents. But the feeling was kind of different. Maybe I was just being a little greedy and nasty. I dont know, perhaps I just missed them too much!!
I have always enjoy the time where my family members are finally gathered at home. I treasured those moments, seriously! Somehow it is getting harder to gather everyone at home these lately. Different schedule, different holidays, different responsibilties... even though the distant between us become shorter compared to the previous one. One of the reason why I always longed for Christmas and Chinese New Year.
Anyway, being the only princess at home for 3 days 2 nights was fun! =P

Vroom
It ended up with: more clothes to wash, shoes never seems to have a dry day to survive, clothes can hardly dry, feeling colder every night, BUT still wont stop me from going out, haha...
When we were on the way back this evening, 9 of us under 5 umbrellas... Had fun in the rain. At the begining, we were walking in a line. Someone cut queue all of a sudden. Then we followed. Haih! Typical 'kia su', haha...
"Woi! Bmmp... Move to the left la... so slow!!"
"Ikut kiri jika tidak memotong.."
"Wei! Cut queue..."
"VRRROooooommmmMM!!!!!"
"Mat rempet... mat rempet... VrrrooommmmMM!!!"
Despite of the heavy rain, we literary 'raced' back to our place. *Sweat!!* It was really fast, gila!! Hahaha.... I just couldn't stop myself from kacau-ing the 'other racers' on the road by making the sound "VRrromm VrrromM!!" haha...
Sometimes, it is really good to have crazy fun once in a while. Welcome to my world!

Blessings falling
Things didn't go as I planned and hoped. My grand aunt passed away just hours before I reached home. Relatives came from all over the peninsula to this little town. There I go... busy as ever...
Even though everyone in the house was busy running in and out to my aunt's place, my little usual busy character was running at the normal speed. I even 'ge bo' into my little sister's art homework =) Hmm... wait! It should be 'sensory acuity' instead of 'ge bo'. I 'helped' her in her drawing, let's say almost 85% of the whole master piece of work? =P Can't help it! I miss drawing!
One thing mi mentioned which I personally quite agree with.
"People these days will meet up only either when there's a wedding or funeral."
Just imagine, there're relatives and friends I only get to meet them on these two kinds of events. However, I am glad that I was able to see them on the weekend and I do missed them a lot!
After the tiring weekend, my body was dragged back here once again...
One thing that really cheer me up.
I received food vouchers, free Snickers, discount card... within a week =)
Happy! May my foody days begin!
Really wanna thank God for giving me the strength and happiness! Praise Him! He knows the best way to cheer me up and always the best timing.

Phone Survival
A day beginning with "Why?" and lots of worries.
My phone was in dead mode when I woke up this morning. After many attempts to switch on the phone with the finger on the on/off button and use the charger to see whether it works, I gave up when it did not even bother to show me any sign at all but to leave it the way it is while I rushed to uni for CF recruitment drive.
While waiting the Ju and Ian, I tried again and was hoping it works somehow. Again it failed and kinda crushed my hope.
Right at that moment, thousands of thoughts swam through my mind.
How can this happened? It is only 5 months old...
What did I do?
How can I survive without handphone?
Not this week! Especially this important weekend! How can my sis reach me? Gosh... I need miracle!! I was really desperate...
I tried to think of some other alternative if my phone seriously facing some what-so-ever technical software problem. There was once I can't tahan anymore, went to Digital Mall to get it fix. According to the expert, my phone was down with some 'bluetooth virus' (no idea how it can ever happened to my lovely phone). It will cost me RM80 and at least half an hour to fix it. Argh! I decided not to fix it there and went back to uni.
Depressed.
Went back my apartment after the meeting. While I was talking to my house mates and trying to charge the phone again and see if there is any chance... Hmm... Something happened! 'Charging...?' To cut the story short, if I'm not mistaken la... I think my phone was down with low battery. Hahaaa..... Thank God!
I worried for nothing in the end. =,="
Laugh with me =)

Sem Break begins with Tyre Changing... again?
Yesterday was the first day I came back for sem break. Guess what was it like? Hmm... let me review then, .... tata... (read below) (o__0"") *lame*
Woke up early to catch bus again. The 'fisherman' called for directions to Ipoh and thanks to KJ for leaving the map I drew for him the day before in PJ. But they are pretty smart, found the place quite fast. "Like the food?" Went to Pudu slightly too early and waited there, staring at everything that's mobile and stagnant... I don't really mind doing nothing these few days, I've been so used to stare blankly since study week, haha...
Thank God for the spacious bus man. There were less than 15 people taking the same bus. I'm so happy!! I occupied the 2 seats and slept like a pig, syiok! Reached Ipoh early, somehow the bus reached in 2 hours time, *salute* that was fast!
Di picked me up from there. Then went to pi's school. Something happened on our way for lunch. There was a guy sounded the honk and pointing at our car as he was about to leave the traffic light turning. And you know what happened next right??
Ar... tyre chainging time again...
This is the 4th time I'm changing tyre since I got my car license. *grin with the look 'I-know-how'* Alright, tyre changing time... under the glaring hot sun, adoi! The cacat-ed spare tyre was in dunno-why-not-so-good-condition. Thank God di managed to drive safely to the shop...
Recalling the tyre changing experience...
1st time:
Changed a tyre for Aunty Reb's car after the baptism class with another church friend who just got license also. It was so fun, I remember!! Both of us was little 'kelam-kabut' that time coz first time changing ma... oya, there was a guy came over to help later...
2nd time:
Family trip to Langkawi. Half way I heard something unusual, then di pulled over to check. Whee... tyre changing time again, let me do the job *BIG bbbrroooaaddd happy grin*
3rd time:
My fault. Parked too near to a small staircase just beside the church shop lot corridor and *touch* the sharp corner. *pwounn* Didn't really do anything actually, a friend came over to change for me, thanks YS!!
4th time:
This one lor...
I sounded as if I have fun during the tyre changing time eh?
The truth is: I was! You wanna know why?
C'mon! It wasn't so bad when you had a flat tyre, it is a time where you can practice your skills and realise that you have not been 'sayang-ing' by touching the tyre so often. Also, at least we did not went into any accident with the flat tyre okay? Be thankful!!! Why with all the frowns? Cheer up man!! I know it will cost a lot but come to think of it, at least God gives us chance to make full use of what we have learnt. It might be usefull someday during an emergency and you will never know.
Hmm... if you are interested in learning how to change a tyre, go look for someone who knows how... I am willing to teach if you are willing to learn =) Just let me know.

Home Sweet Home
Anyway, my one week of study week is supposed to be sticking my eye balls right in front of my never ending lovely notes from all beloved lecturers until I'm well prepared for my exam next week. Thanks to all of you that I now somehow have to find a way to gobble down everything into my stomach. Eww... ink and paper!!
Ar... Study week means I can spend time at home and eat and eat and eat... hehe!! Spend time with my family, Mikko, tv, dramas, basketball, sleep as much as I want =) Ei! What about my study?? Great, I forgot to insert it somewhere...
Oya! On Sunday, the moment I step into di's car, I can't stop reminding di and mi to drop me at the coffee shop in Ipoh Garden East to let me 'da bao' Lui Cha.
I can clearly remember I wanted to eat this for so long since CNY. I went there twice and it was close. *ish! Geram!* Ar!! Finally!! It's OPEN!!! I was really happy and ordered a BIG one. =) When I was about to leave, something was blinking and attract my attention towards it. Egg tart. Wait! It's Cheese egg tart. Yeap! I got myself an apple cheese egg tart. When the lady tried to put the egg tart cautiously into the plastic bag, I nearly burst out "It's alright! I can't wait! Just give me the egg tart without the plastic bag! I wanna eat now!" Of course, as you have known me, I'm not that kind of impudent person, right? *ahem* Anyway, I walked away gracefully. *wink*
I wanted to take a picture of this lovely apple egg tart. Too late!
I gobbled the whole thing down in my throat once I enter the car.
This is what is left (pic). I was a little too hungry coz I did not had breakfast as I was rushing to pudu. As usual, slept in the bus and even knocked on the side of the window which really hurts. That's how a babi can sleep =)
Alright! Let me intruduce this lovely and ever munchyful delicious food-Lui Cha! *ta ta* Not only it's healthy but yummy. It is a dish with rice and lots of different vege and nuts (pic in the middle). The greenish 'tea' also kinda like soup for the dish smells so good that it just taste ever so delicious once you mix everything together. Yeap! It's a must try food!! Overall: 8/10 =)
Within the first 2 hours in Ipoh, I ate 5 things altogether. Haha... siao right? Dai jou bu. I was really happy enjoying the food. I had the egg tart as appetizer, Lui Cha as the first course, fruits, my mi's home cooking-normal Lunch and dessert. Which means, I had 2 big bowls of rice in one go. Hmm... I think I might be a little bit of extreme.
Evening, we all went out for dinner. I had a normal chicken chop. It was quite good. The colour, setting, taste in terms of the sauce and meat were really fine. Hey! Mind you, this is found in food court. Not any restaurant. If they can provide such standard, I don't think the cafe or restaurant should have any excuses to provide worse dish. Buck up! Overall: 7.5/10
An extremely heavy-duty day for my stomach. Haha... but I'm superb happy!
