Signboards
Standing at the crossroads always make people go cuckoo-nut and wanna scream their heads off, especially when the roads ahead are beyond expectations and the heart says otherwise. To go or not to go, or to wait for a little while more... I need signboards, Lord.

What matters
Came across a really long article last night just before crawling into bed. The length was not the matter, the concern lay at the content. As I scrolled down each time to read more, I could only feel my stiff throat and damp cheeks. Heaven and Hell. Sins. Repentance. Forgiveness. Judgement Day. I was once again reminded that God is just and how He hates sins. Sin is still a sin, there is no measurement nor grey area. The world is swallowing up the good values and introducing the 'okay' sins so fast each day. If we do not self-check ourselves often, we'll still think that we are doing alright, thought we fought a good fight, finished the race, kept our faith and going to heaven at our last breath. God's grace and mercy are not the licences to sin. I'm so amazed at how God forgives and embraces, even when His heart was hurt again and again. Praying hard to feel His heartbeat...

Just a dream no more
I have always believe that movies and dramas have this very special thing in driving motivations and encouragements. Good ones, of course. I have been watching a lot, seriously a lot of those lately. One of the recently completed dramas gave me so much encouragements, especially in terms of give it all out for what I believe is my passion. Sometimes, it is hard to pursue our passions as the world just simply eats it up and label our passions as 'just a dream'. By the time we wake up from our dreams, we could hardly recall how much we used to love the things we used to love. Guts. Motivations. To achieve greater things, it takes more than just those. My God, whom my faith in Him.

Perfect
Last year's today was all about the anxious of the next day. This year's today is all about the count down. Unbelievable year. "Today, is exact one year" made it even more perfect.

Feisty and Fiercer
Giant has returned. This round, definitely feisty and fiercer. No more nonsense. No more exploitation. Be prepared.

Nice Shout
Met up with friends the other day for dinner. There was this moment I stood up for some reasons that I cant recall. One very loud angry and demanding voice suddenly shouted "IRENE!" I froze. I think probably my heart beat missed out one count. It struck me as if I was back in old school days when you get those shouting by discipline teacher for going against the rules. The shout was so bad that as if I have messed the place by shooting everyone in the restaurant with water gun. I remained in the same position, slightly turned my head and looked for the source of the voice. When I was very certain that lady who shouted was not my acquaintance, I slipped my butt back into the seat. My friends stared at me with those what-is-going-on-and-you-better-explain curious eyes. Hey, I didnt do anything wrong, hahaa. I think she was shouting at one kid who went into the restaurant, whom happened to share the same name. Oh lady, please dont do that in public, do you know you can freak out all the Irenes out there in broad daylight?

My Super HERO
My vivid memory before I stepped into this Year of Tiger, was told that I might meet hardship and lots of hindrances (some Chinese beliefs). Knowing well that I will have an awesome year just like the many promising years past and as the year coming to an end though the Year of Tiger has another month ahead, it has proven them wrong enough, hahaa! "My super Hero never fails!!"
The dread upon a whole new phase of life has turned out to be a beautiful one.
Doubt upon uncertainty is natural, and I have one major one as well. I questioned, waited for an answer, was a little discourage at times just to think about it sometimes, which can easily become a grouch hidden inside of me as I was so sure in the beginning. God always work miraculously. Once again, He surprised me with the way He brings the answer, perhaps I should say it's an assurance, just before the year ends. I can never thank Him enough.
Life is like a movie, we are the main character, He is the director with beautiful story plots all ready in mind, ready to roll anytime. Oh, I cant wait to play in the next scene.

Back in Sunday School
A day in Sunday School, after SO many years was simply awesome. The children in the toddlers' class are SO adorable, chubby and restless. I dont remember me being so restless when I was their age, but I must have been adorable too, hahaa! Anyway, the moment this little girl hold on tightly to my fingers during the worship without planning to let go of it, I couldnt stop liking her more. The children have such contagious smiles and laughter that will melt you on the spot.
The worship songs reminded me the songs I used to sing in Sunday School, also not to forget the actions accompanied. I like those simple songs directly expressing our feelings to God. Nice. The colouring session was fun too. Some coloured everything in one colour, some coloured tree in brown and blue and so on. Pretty creative bunch of painters. Oh, I like the way the teachers talk to them, very encouraging. I miss the little princesses and heroes already.

Past is good
Those scenes. Feelings. Voices. Still vividly stayed. Perhaps or perhaps not it changes many things. So much sadness, disappointment and anger. Anguish for not able to turn back time. That walk accompanied by those unstoppable tears. Never seems to reach the destination. Sad to lose. Self disappointment. Angry of the strike. Thought have lost half the battle. Only to realise that the battle has just began. To give up immediately is to lose entirely. Gathered every parts again. Depended on the strength given. Geared in full force. Fought boldly. With the very best. Even scars look extraordinarily beautiful. Changes so much. It was good. It is good. And the battle never stops.
(A self reflection of a past incident that taught me to look at more issues in a deeper insight and am really glad that it became a good impact in my life)

I still believe
I will still believe that He will bring sunshine after every storm and rain.
Simply because I know He never fails.

A Sunday without sun
A Sunday without sun
has been a wonderful day for me
love the cooling breeze and refreshing drizzle that fell gently upon my cheeks
simply lifted the edges of the lips
forming the familiar curve I've always known
Nevertheless
I embrace the Sunday You've created
the beautiful sunny Sunday
for the warm and gracious sunlight
has always been the identity of a Sunday
