The worship songs reminded me the songs I used to sing in Sunday School, also not to forget the actions accompanied. I like those simple songs directly expressing our feelings to God. Nice. The colouring session was fun too. Some coloured everything in one colour, some coloured tree in brown and blue and so on. Pretty creative bunch of painters. Oh, I like the way the teachers talk to them, very encouraging. I miss the little princesses and heroes already.

Back in Sunday School
A day in Sunday School, after SO many years was simply awesome. The children in the toddlers' class are SO adorable, chubby and restless. I dont remember me being so restless when I was their age, but I must have been adorable too, hahaa! Anyway, the moment this little girl hold on tightly to my fingers during the worship without planning to let go of it, I couldnt stop liking her more. The children have such contagious smiles and laughter that will melt you on the spot.

Past is good
Those scenes. Feelings. Voices. Still vividly stayed. Perhaps or perhaps not it changes many things. So much sadness, disappointment and anger. Anguish for not able to turn back time. That walk accompanied by those unstoppable tears. Never seems to reach the destination. Sad to lose. Self disappointment. Angry of the strike. Thought have lost half the battle. Only to realise that the battle has just began. To give up immediately is to lose entirely. Gathered every parts again. Depended on the strength given. Geared in full force. Fought boldly. With the very best. Even scars look extraordinarily beautiful. Changes so much. It was good. It is good. And the battle never stops.
(A self reflection of a past incident that taught me to look at more issues in a deeper insight and am really glad that it became a good impact in my life)

I still believe
I will still believe that He will bring sunshine after every storm and rain.
Simply because I know He never fails.

A Sunday without sun
A Sunday without sun
has been a wonderful day for me
love the cooling breeze and refreshing drizzle that fell gently upon my cheeks
simply lifted the edges of the lips
forming the familiar curve I've always known
Nevertheless
I embrace the Sunday You've created
the beautiful sunny Sunday
for the warm and gracious sunlight
has always been the identity of a Sunday

You make my day
I smiled. I laughed. Good hearty laugh. Because you and you and you ... were here to make me laugh. To cheer my days. To make me grin from ear to ear. I can still smile, just by thinking of the moments we all had together.
Friends are beautiful creations of God...
... and I thank God for blessing me great pals.
the wedding. the lunch reception. the cendol & ice kacang moment. the direction-less driving. the crazy crepe cottage sugar high supper. the many hours in the car. the 'rare food' hunting. the awesome catching up. the ingolf satisfying meal. the fun beach night.
more to come... more to come...

Comes with price
When things are free, I take it for granted
When I know that it comes with a price, I learn to appreciate, or at least I try
What about the greatest price He has paid for my life?
Have I been taking it seriously?

Step aside
Life is not just about us. Or us alone. Life is too short to have I and I alone. It is about what He wants to accomplish.
Do you know that it's really awesome to view the world through His lens? I'm not joking! It's true. Never thought I could encounter such beauties. I had so much joy last week, just one simple incident, the smiles and laughters lasted for so long.
Step aside, let Him take control and show you. Do I want more of those surprises? You bet!

Listened real hard
Halfway through the dinner, came a family seated at the other side. Their features caught our attention. Handsome, I must admit, hahaa! Wait. That's not my main point yet... Somehow, their features.. not much local-like. So the guessing game began. My first shot was Japanese. Not very convince. Was trying to listen to the language they were using. Speak louder wei, talk more... Eh? English... but the way they conversed were not the one we were familiar with, or was it some Hokkien? I suggested to stay for a little longer to find out (*ahem*sensory acuity) Know what, they spoke Hokkien and English, hohoho... Local la most probably. Hardly believe we actually thought they were foreigners. A local trying to find out another local's identity. *rolled eyes*
Imagine, if this happened:
"Er... sorry to bother you, just wanna know where are you from?"
"Huh? I'm from where you are from lar... Lu siao ah? Ciak baa bo su zuo!"
"... ..."

Not a winner, nor a loser
choose not to be the first
in this race
rather being the last on the field
feeling happy and contented
witness everyone touches the finishing line
knowing that
neither am a winner, nor a loser
when
every step is a victory second
and
the race belongs to all

Mafia
Lovin' Mafia game!
(I have said this since the day I know how to play this awesome game)
For those who know the game, you'll probably say "Yea~"
For those who are clueless, er... i suggest you go google search since you can read my blog online =P
Had Mafia night with the cg the other evening, was rather anticipating for the game throughout the week (Tengok! Mafia game can be so motivating!). Other people makan bola, minum bola, mimpi bola... i kerja mimpi Mafia, makam mimpi Mafia.. =,=
ANYWAY, I was really really really looking forward to become 'the mafia'. Cut the story short, we had 3 rounds of war, I was 'blessed' to become the civilian, from the beginning till the end. So, you know right, being a civilian, you are suppose to put on your normal behaviour (or at least act innocent if you cant, hahaa!) Tough job, friends...
I really have no talent to play the role of 'civilian', ended up being accused to be the-you-know-who every round (i wish i was!) It was either the Marmee monster/ Koko crunch that i was munching betrayed me, or it was the un-pretend-able evil face i wore that day that has caused me the consequence. Even betting on Kampachi did not earn me some trust *sad* (Betting on food doesnt work in this cg is it? Hmm... I need new tactics)
Yet, it was fun la. Those expressions were very genuine and funny.
Oh ya, that reminds me of someone earned the honourable title 'the orange bear' till now, hahaa! We played the same game but it was titled 'Hunter and Bear'.
Mafia is simply awesome somehow. You gotta play it and know the fun! And next round, the role 'mafia' is so gonna be mine "I demand you-whoever-that-control-the-game to hand it over!" Muahaa!

Slacking no more
"Nice templates and very friendly user, blogger!"
Been slacking and procrastinated to update anything since graduated. Time for a change. New template for this new journey. Let this journey begins with a journal.
